Twin Electric Motors & Super All-Wheel Control

The Outlander PHEV uses full-time, high-output twin electric motors separately mounted at the front and rear axles to instantly supply torque on demand for incredibly responsive performance with agile all-wheel drive. The Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) system was developed specifically for its unique twin electric motor configuration for maximum performance, efficiency, traction and safety.

The Twin Electric Motor system automatically bypasses the gas-powered engine in EV mode, providing immediate torque for instant acceleration.

By tapping directly into the main drive battery from the rear seat and cargo area, a combined 1500W of power is at your disposal. Multi-View Camera System

This advanced feature uses multiple cameras around the vehicle to create a composite, bird's-eye view of your Outlander PHEV in addition to a wide-angle view, helping to show what's directly behind you.

Adaptive Cruise Control

The Available Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system uses radar technology to judge distances between you and the vehicle ahead, helping you maintain a safe driving distance.
